Matcha Workshop in London | Matcha Tasting & Matcha Bowl Pottery

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll sip premium matcha and create your own matcha bowl – no experience needed.

✨ What to Expect:

Freshly Whisked Matcha Tasting (45 mins)
Your journey begins with a calming tea-tasting session. Discover the art of preparing matcha the traditional way using a chawan (matcha bowl) and chasen (bamboo whisk), while enjoying two styles of matcha: one straight, the other with ice and oat milk.

You’ll also learn more about the origins of matcha, why it is good for our health, and how to whisk your own matcha at home.

Short break (5 mins)

Make Your Own Matcha Bowl (70 mins)
After a short break, you’ll be introduced to hand-building techniques under the guidance of expert instructors. Shape and personalise your bowl using clay and pottery tools, then decorate it with your own painted design.

Your Finished Piece:
After the workshop, your matcha bowl will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to ensure it’s food-safe and ready for tea rituals at home.
