Our High Mountain Ceremonial Matcha is sourced directly from family-run farms on the Yungui Plateau of southwestern China – the region where tea itself was born. Shade-grown for 4 weeks before harvest, stone-ground into a vibrant emerald powder, this is ceremonial grade matcha that stands up to anything from Japan.

At 1,600 metres altitude, cooler temperatures slow leaf growth, concentrating umami and chlorophyll for a deeper, sweeter flavour profile. No bitterness. No grassiness. Just a clean, smooth bowl that works as beautifully in a classic matcha preparation as it does in a latte.

How to prepare: Sift 1–2g into a bowl. Add 70ml water at 80°C. Whisk in a zig-zag until frothy. Drink straight or add milk.
