Handcrafted in North London, this Huaban (花瓣, meaning petals) matcha bowl is a limited-run collaboration between brut tea and Meiro Ceramics.

Each bowl is hand-thrown and individually finished – no two are exactly the same. The petal-shaped rim and coral blush glaze make it one of the most striking matcha bowls available in the UK, and one that looks as considered on a shelf as it does in a pair of hands.

Functional too: the wide, stable base accommodates a full chasen sweep, and the natural glaze finish gives the interior a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for whisking.
